Spring 2008 Registration Available (dec 20, 2007)
Registration for JASA's Spring 2008 season is now available. Please visit the Registration page for all registration information; including onsite dates, locations, forms and more. We look forward to welcoming back all returning players and meeting the new players.

JASA Challenge Tryout Announcements (dec 4, 2007)
There will be an open tryout for the U-12 Girls Lancers Challenge Team on Saturday, December 15th, 2007(corrected) @ 2:00P. The tryouts will be held at the JASA Soccer Complex. All interested players should be there by 1:45P. Wear shin guards, soccer cleats and bring a ball and water.
The U-11 Girls Lancers are holding a supplemental tryout @ 2:00P on Saturday December 8th at the JASA Soccer Complex. Please wear appropriate soccer equipment.

U12 Lancer Girls Make Semi-Finals at Greensboro Clash (dec 12, 2007)
JASA's U12 Lancers (Girls) made it to the semi-finals in the Greensboro Challenge Clash played the weekend of November 17th and 18th. Having beat CASL's Nemesis 4 to 1 and Irdell Soccer Club's Mad Dogs 3 to 1, the Lancers entered the semi-finals as the first place team in its half of the bracket. In the semis the Lancers lost to the Seashore Soccer Club's Sandspurs, an ECSA club, 2 to 3 in a shoot out. Overall for the tournament the Lancers out shot their competitors 42 to 22 shots on goal and scored 9 goals giving up 3 direct goals and one Pk in their three games before going into the shootout. Congratulations to the Sandspurs. They took Silver in the finals losing to the New Bern Lady Bears 3 to 4 in double overtime. In addition to these teams, the Piney Green Cyclones played in the other U12 bracket along with the Hvelock Fury who took Silver in that bracket. This was a great showing at the state level for U12 Challenge Girls soccer in eastern NC.
ECSA Indoor Soccer Season Begins Dec 1st (nov 26, 2007)
The ECSA Indoor Soccer season will begin on December 1, 2007. Schedules and additional information are available on the ECSA site HERE. Good luck to our JASA teams.
Indoor Soccer Tournaments Coming Soon (oct 30, 2007)
Announcing the annual JHS/JASA Indoor Tournament scheduled for January 18-21, 2008 (over the Marting Luther King holiday weekend). The registration fee is $175 for age groups U8-U19 boys and girls, with a deadline of January 11th.
JASA is also requesting volunteers to help work the concession stand. JASA gets all of the concession stand receits that greatly benefit our league.
This tournament is also the "kick-off" for JASA's Spring Registration in the JHS gym.
