RECREATION for Ages U7 and U8 (Coed)
The U7/U8 is a coed program designed to focus on learning the fundamental skills of soccer, while
learning the rules of the game. Focus is not only on individual skills, but also on team and coach
development.
Games are 6 vs 6 (5 field positions and 1 Goalie), and are played every Saturday and some Sundays.
Home games are played at Jasa fields @ 300 Morgan Lane Jacksonville NC 28540. Away games are
played at the Dixon field located at Stump Sound Park 1772 Hwy 172 Sneads Ferry NC 28460.
Directions from Jacksonville- take 17 south, Left on Hwy 210, Right on Hwy 172 and park is on the right.

Any updates will be posted to the Jasa website @ www.jasa-nc.com.
All games will have an official referee and each player is guaranteed to play at least half of the quarters
the player is available for. A player MUST START a quarter for the quarter to count towards the player’s
playing time. Substitutions during games can only be done if a player is injured or by player’s request
(with referee’s approval). If one team substitutes for any of above the opposing team will be given
opportunity to substitute. Goal keepers must play equal time as field player. If a team does not have 6
players, the opposing team is to play with the same amount of players as the team without 6 players.
Shin guards are MANDATORY. Uniforms can be ordered at Sports Shak 1537 Freedom Way (910)577-

Practices will be held 1-2x per week at either Commons elementary, Commons middle, or Parkwood and
will no longer be held on Jasa game fields. There are 4 fields at Commons elem, 2 at Commons middle,
and 2 at Parkwood. Each team will be assigned a field and time and participation is required. During
practices please ensure no pets are permitted on fields and no hanging on goal posts or nets. Size 3 ball,
soccer cleats and shin guards are required for every practice.
Jasa strives to create the most encouraging and positive learning experience while staying competitive
and challenging for our players. Without all our volunteer coaches and support from parents this
could not be possible. So please remember, let the coaches coach. Sideline coaching and any verbal
communication with any referee made during or after a game by a coach, player, or parent will not be
tolerated.
